CSV Importer – a simple and easy csv importer tutorial

Importing a csv file in WP Ultimate CSV importer is very easy process. Here is the tutor to import post csv file with step by step process explained. And some guide lines are following for new user.

Import post as csv:

1. Select the Post tab in top of the plugin.
2. Click choose file button and Browse your csv file, which you have to import.
3. Select your delimiter in the drop down list. You have to select your delimiter according to your csv file. WP Ultimate importer supports two types of delimiter such as ‘,’ and ‘;’ .
4. Click import button to go to next page. If you stuck with any warnings, Please read the warning carefully. Because importer will show warnings in some cases.
5. Select the post status in the drop down list such as Publish, Private, Protected and so on. It is a mandatory field.
6. You can see the Fields are auto mapped well. If not, your csv file is not structured well according to WP Ultimate importer requirements.
7. Click Import button to finish the import process ,which is bottom of the page. Now you may get some warnings. Because WP Ultimate CSV importer show warning in some cases

Some reasons to occur warnings:

i. If file is missing in the upload file field. So be sure while you click the import button as csv file is selected or not.
ii. If already exist in the same file name. So you can rename the file with Post title or Post id.
iii.If mandatory fields are missing to map.

If one or two fields are missing in auto mapping , Please map the fields manually.

Import Page, Custom post and User Tutorial

Import process of Page, Custom post and User are same as Post import process. So please refer the tutor of the post, and follow the instructions carefully to import the Page, Custom post and User. But be sure about the tabs. Because Post, Page,Custom post and User has to import with different tabs, which is placed in the top of the plugin serially.

Import Eshop, WP Commerce and Woo Commerce

Import process of Eshop, WP Commerce and Woo Commerce are same as Post import process. So please refer the tutor of the post, and follow the instructions carefully to import the Eshop, WP Commerce and also to the Woo Commerce. But be sure about the tabs. Because Eshop, WP Commerce and Woo Commerce has to import with different tabs, which is placed in the top of the plugin serially. If the tabs are missing, Please click the Third party plugins in settings tab and enable the radio button, which you have to import. While enable the radio button, if the text is display in red color means , Particular third party plugin is missing. So please be sure about the existence of the particular third party plugin.

How to enable Eshop, WP Commerce and Woo Commerce Tab?

You can enable or disable the tabs in settings.
1. Click the Settings tab.
2. Click on Third Party Plugins.
3. Enable the Radio button, Which you want to enable the tab.
4. Click Save.

How to enable Comments, Categories/Tags, Custom Taxonomy, User/Roles Tab?

You can enable or disable the tabs in settings.
1. Click the Settings tab.
2. Click on Modules.
3. Enable the Check box, Which you want to enable the tab.
4. Click Save.
